nice Machine. You'll hate the cost of replacement parts.

I figured parts would be outrageous so i got insurance for $8 a month with a $250 deductible.

Sweet. Yea, kubota commercial mower parts are like 2X everyone else.

that is a beast though.

With tax and dealer fees it was 8300 out the door.

I've mowed with everything from a push mower to a riding tractor pulling a brush hog…but until I got on a zero turn…I never really mowed!
Going around trees, speed adjust through drive levers…it just don't get any better than this!

Try a Stander or a V-ride.
Once you stand up on a zero turn mower, you never will kill your back sitting down again.

A stander was my first choice because of this ridge I live on…but…couldn't afford one. I bought the John Deere and now that I have learned to side mow the hills, I have no problem with the angle. Just never go down hill driving foreward…in one area in my east pasture I drive up and down the hill but I drive up and back down in a zigzag fashion, glad it is only a small area. With 6 acres of grass around the house I mow for two days only about 4 hours a day though…makes it seem like less tediousness…I do enjoy mowing though, lets my mind wander and the air smells good too. My Boxer, BUBBIE likes to sit in the shade and watch…primarily he likes to bark at the soaring buzzards on the south ridge and tell them to 'Bug Off!"…this is his yard!

I mow 5 acres with a JD Z850A 60". It is a pleasure to do so with it. It's the weed eating I dislike. Almost takes just as long!

I'm with you on the weed eating part, that kills my back…someday they will come up with a riding weed eater! I'm holding out for the 'anti gravity' model...:bigsmyl2:
