I'm looking for good data on loading cast bullets for 8mm Mauser. The rifle is a Kommission 88.

LBT .325-205LFN is intended for the 8mm.

You should order in throat diameter to fit your rifle.

Alternative design from Accurate is:

165450

With GC use 30 grains of either 4895, 4064, RL15 or Varget as "full charge" hunting load. Either bullet will stabilize without the GC using 6 grains of Bullseye.

For "cast sneeze" loads either the RCBS bullet for the 8mm Nambu pistol or the 120-grain .310 Cadet heeled bullet work fine with 4-5 grains of Bullseye.

So I need to cast the chamber?

Yes!

Or make a "pound cast" (upset throat slug) look up the "sticky" on how to do this.

I think I'll have my smith do it

that's really the best way to know what your dealing with.
many 8mm throats are pretty generous.
I have the opposite problem.
that mold shown by 75 would work well in mine with the crimp groove removed and the diameters slightly adjusted to 324/314 to fit my throat shape, and get some engraving on the nose when chambered.
his load recommendations are exactly the load I use so I got nuthin to add except that 18grs of 2400 shoots rather well also.
I basically split 308/30-06 loads down the middle and used the appropriate load for the boolit weight I have.
