HI all!
How would one go about using the pre-made jackets I see for sale in the Vendor S&S section? I'd be looking to make .224 55gr- 62gr....

Does one simply pour the lead into the jackets and be done with it? I would think it would be difficult to get consistency with a simply Pour into the Jacket method... ?

anyone have any videos online that show this process?

thanks all!

stop into the swaging section here and look around a bit.

I make my own swaged bullets and how I do it is super similar to how the factory's do it [only about 1 million times slower]
I make the core. [I cast mine mostly but have also used cut wire]
I swage the core to weight.
I seat the core into the jacket.
I point form the bullet into shape.
if I have exposed lead I need a point form die to make the lead into a pointed tip.

if you look at BT snipers area in the VS section here you can see what the dies will cost on average.
he is less than some and a little more than others in price but his quality is top notch.
