Hi, sure this has been asked like a gazillion times, but trying to decide between a few different molds for 9mm.
I have a hi power clone. Near as I can tell the barrel is .356. The rifling seems to start right at the end of the chamber with no leade.
Trying to decide between a few different Lee molds IF they will drop a bullet large enough to be sized or just shot at .357
Choices- 356-125-2r, tl356-124-2r, or 356- truncated cone. (Not tl one)
Anybody have any luck with either? What size do they drop? Will be using coww with a little tin added.
Thanks.

stay away from the tumble lube model. [it was the number one thread starter a couple of years back]
no throat means a nose that transitions into the front drive bands without a step is your best bet.

The tc can be seated short to accomodate no lead, just watch max loads, as the bullet deeper in case will increase pressures.

I've asked this question several times and haven't seen where I've got an answer. How do take a 356 dia bullet as cast and size it up to 357?

I'm not sure what your current alloy is, but you can also try an alloy with less tin in it. Another option, and I've never done it, is to Beagle your mould. There are several threads on the technique and a quick search for Beagle should find one that will help.
