Here is a quick cheap solution for annealing a lot of brass quickly. This was made from scrap and works like a champ.

You reload the tray as you spin and anneal and the brass drops through into the bucket of water.

A battery powered low speed/high torque motor from a kids construction set would work well to automate rotation.

Do the cases turn in the flame or is the heat directed at one side only?
