Hey guys I need some help trying to identify a bullet mold I acquired. I have not seen one like this and have not found any info either. It is a steel mold that is 2 cavity, but it's a over under. It's got 2 cavities for one grain bullet, flip it over and it's a different bullet. It's made where you can change the spru to each side.
I will include a pic. Any help would be great. Thanks. 162857

Hensley and Gibbs made molds like yours back in the 1930's. Read the 3rd paragraph of this: http://www.hensleygibbs.com/casting/Hensley%20&%20Gibbs%20Mould%20List.htm

I think mold makers were more accommodating back in the day. Pictured are two molds that I have. One is a Modern-Bond. It cast both rifle and pistol bullets for the 32-20. The other mold is a Cramer that casts a 45 caliber pistol bullet and two different 30 caliber bullets. They are beautifully cut molds.

I had a Modern Bond catolog from about 1925 and two cavity molds with two different cavities were a stock item.

I had a Modern Bond catolog from about 1925 and two cavity molds with two different cavities were a stock item. The customer could pick the cavities they wanted, sounds very accommodating to me.

Thanks for the input. I was cleaning the spru and found the name on it. Still have to figure out the bullets and weight

That's a pretty cool mold. Only maker doing things like that anymore is Accurate but you pay for it from them.
