Who covers your club and why ? Our club has a policy with a local outfit(we don't just have R & P Ranges, but shotgun/archery/2 lakes/bathhouses/Clubhouse/campground/hiking trails/etc.) and additional Range coverage from the Lockton folks. We are looking into combining policies to save a few bucks and I'm leery of depending on the local company for Range coverage.

I'm pretty sure our range insurance is through the NRA.

My club is covered by the NRA also. All members must be NRA members. You have to have 50% of your members enrolled in NRA. Rates are so much per member of the club.

the NRA hare also.
we also work with the states F&G and they use the range for their hunter education program.
we got them to sponsor a couple of bathrooms [brick and mortar type] through that co-operation.

Our club has coverage through West Bend which is cheaper than through NRA and comes highly recommended by other regional clubs.

Our club was required to change out club insurance from the NRA by the land owner when he read the policy and found it written by Lloyds of London. We were required to have a California admitted company with agents in the state to handle any claims. We Switched to Philadelphia Insurance co 800 873 4552 thru a local agent.
Very fast service and cheaper than the NRA policy.

Ft Lupton muzzle loading club used Philidelphia insurance for two years till Lockton/NRA simplified their insurance to so much per member for certain coverage.
