I was looking through a coffee can full of screws and small parts from a wrecked truck a friend had given me. I found a live 44 mag shell that looked like someone had been cutting on it with a cutoff wheel. It had cut through the rim almost to the primer and almost through the case for a half inch.
I couldn't imagine why someone would do this, but it just happened he stopped by a few minutes ago and I mentioned it. He wants the shell back, it turned it was cut with a cutoff wheel when they were cutting up the sleeper and thought it was cleaned out until the shell fell out. This happenned aseveral years ago, he knew he saved the shell, but had forgotten where it was. lol
