No, not that combo, what gun? In an auto, I have good results with the 255 grain swc designed for a colt for max smackdown that will still feed.

I loaded a 200gr LSWC backwards for 45acp for 50' indoor pistol. It's been a long time ago but I think I was loading 3.5gr BE. They shot well at 50' and fed well in the well used Ballister Molina I was shooting and left a very clean round hole in the target.I loaded them flush with the case mouth with a light crimp.

Yes. If it's for an autoloader, don't do it. It's not a particularly good idea for revolvers either.

If you have to ask why, take this as a sign you need more experience handloading.
