Frosted bases on .257 bullet

I am new to casting .257 bullets and some of the bases came out frosted.Will they shoot alright or are they culls?

As long as they are a mirror image of your mold, they will be fine. Frosting doesn't hurt.

As long as they are flat bottoms.

Frosting anywhere on a boolit does not hurt anything. Stuff 'em and shoot 'em. I don't know where the olde wive's tales back in the darke ages came from about frosted boolits.

I prefer my boolits to have a little frosty look.

Powder coat them, and no one will ever know.
