Anyone try LLA on their PB rifle boolits? Seems mine start to show lead last 3" of 20 " barrel. Also you can use a boolit tip to write on the target if you forget the ink pen[smilie=1: This was on a plain not TL boolit. Works fine on standard .45 acp loads.

All the time. How fast are you shooting yours?

right at 1800 fps. I had tumble lubed them. I used to fill the lube groove like with coventional lube.

It's very likely at 1800 fps nearly every lube you try will give you leading, or at least inaccuracy. Slow them down to 12-1400 fps and try again.

I've used nothing but LLA since I started casting. Muzzle velocities that I shoot range from 1300 fps in my .45-70, to 1800 fps in my M1917 on up to 2200 fps in my Enfield (oven treated WW). I've had no significant leading in any of my rifles. All bullets are at or .001 over bore size.
