Win 94 AE Carbinr Firesight?

Guys,

I have a Winchester Model 94AE saddle ring carbine in 30-30. I put a Williams rear sight on it, and really like it. The problem is my aging eyes are having difficulty with the standard steel front sight that's on it. I'd like to get a fiber optic front sight for it, but the front barrel band looks like it could be an issue as its very close to the sight. The non carbine M94 Firesight does not appear that it would work. Does anyone know of a fiber optic front sight that will fit this particular model? Thanks in advance for any help...Shooter.

You just have to trim the front or rear of the FO front sight blade's base, to clear the barrel band.

If you haven't already zeroed the receiver sight, you might want to do that with the issue front sight, in case a front sight taller than the issue height is needed.

If/when you order a FO sight, be sure the color (green, red, amber, yellow, etc) is compatible with YOUR vision/color perception.
