I am looking at buying a barrel and action on Gunbroker. it is a mod. 110 CL J series. there is no bolt with the action. Where can I go to look for a bolt? Are they even available. I haven't bid on the rifle yet, just doing some research.

.

A barreled action for sale w/o it's bolt should be a red flag, since there's a lot guns that have been stolen, even though the gun owner(s) removed their bolt(s) & stored the bolt elsewhere.

If Savage would sell you a bolt (unlikely), there's no guarantee that the bolt will fit properly w/o some knowledge, a barrel nut spanner, and a set of Go/No-Go gauges to adjust headspace.

Might check Midway for the parts if you want new, Numrich if used is ok.

I will echo the red flag, but also that Midway, Brownells, and other standard parts houses will have them. Brownells I don't think has complete ones, and Midway I know has performance bolts like PTG, dunno about factory.
