Anyone using a Star lubrisizer with Ranch Dog or Lee Microgroove boolits? I am thinking about the only way it would work is to have all the holes unplugged. (or drilling some more)

Thanks,

Crabo

I'm running my TLC 432 265 boolits through a .432- die (it mics less than .0005 small) in my STAR using 50/50 from LARS. I had it set for the GLL 44 wadcutter, 429667 and 431244 and only had to adjust the top punch. I think only the center set of holes are still open...it hasn't been out of the machine since I got it a couple of months ago and set it up.

I'm seating the gas checks in my LYMAN with the gas check seater and then running them through the STAR nose first.

I'm waiting for the six cavity of this mould (July?) and the six cavity TLC 359 190(August or ?)

you probably don't need that much lube just the bottom half or so would be plenty.
you could seat the g/c in the star when you lube.

Anything you do will sure be a lot less messy then rubbing on lube with your fingers like I do!
