I just noticed one of the long term members is now listed as a "Guest".

I am not asking about specifics on this member. I am just curious what the "Guest" listing is about?

Maybe he bought his internet access through Tracfone and his minutes ran out:kidding:

On some forums that means they have had their account closed. Not a ban but a personal desire to no longer be a member of the forum.

One member has asked to have his account closed and all his posts deleted. W/out knowing the members name I'm hesitant to publicly post why he left.

Well, that may explain a recent thread I went through, in which someone appeared to be speaking sotto voce.

Other thing is if I come in on my cell phone it doesn't automatically log me in like my home computer, I've noticed.

Might be a post from a library or place that won't let you log on because of there firewall, limited access.

I'd go with post number-3

I was just reading a post from 2014 discussing the 380 Rimmed and noticed that LL was listed as a guest. Wondered what in the heck that was about so posts #3 & #4 look probable.

Seems funny that you would decide you were "done" with this place, have yourself removed, then log in as a guest.

When I've had my fill, I stay away for a while. I get over it and come back...

Interesting. I miss the deals on 308 brass. It doesn't make sense to me but, I'm glad he's still around.

I think it's more of an issue that his posts weren't removed and his status has been changed to "Guest". Far as I can tell, there's no way to log in as a guest.
