What is up with Castpics?

What is up with Castpics? I haven't been there for awhile so I decided to check it out this morning. The link to Castpics has disappeared from the links contained on the page bottoms here at Boolits and when I used the old URL

that I have had on file for a few years in this old XP computer all I got was what seemed to be the home page but without any user controls such as how to navigate to the articles and threads it contains within. The only thing that worked there was the link to help out our troops. What’s up with our beloved Castpics?

Castpics is up and working fine for most people. The menu on the left side of the main pages uses flash and javascript. Sometimes this fights with some of the internet security settings. Try adding castpics to your trusted sites if you are using Mcafee or Nortons internet package as that usually alleviates the issues.

Hey, wiljen! The last time things weren't right between Boolits and this computer you came to my rescue then, too. Thank you!

I just now updated Java but quite unfortunately that didn't help much with getting into Castpics, so that means I'll have to dive into this a bit deeper than I am comfortable with. Like finding out where Flash is hiding, if indeed it has that software installed.

Well, back to finding out what all is missing from this old machine.
