On last nites news they were saying the conceal and carry process was that huge the local sheriffs office had to budget into the finances for another full time person to work with the current ccw worker!! It sure was good hearing him declare that ccw is a right and priviledge to those who qualify and he wants to help that process speed up!

You have a *right* to keep and bear arms.

CCW, like driving, is a licensed privilege to carry that can sadly be revoked at discretion. This is just in Texas that I am familiar though.

At least that's my POV.

Some places it is considered a Right and some places it is treated as a privilege.

What should it be? I see not reason it should not be a right, in a free republic there should be no privilege.

I live in roughly the same part of the country as nekshot and it's good to know there is a lot of concealed carry in the area.

ccw IS bearing arms, that sounds like some words in the second amendment to me.
