Mornin, i just got a lone wolf 9mm barrel for a Glock and have started to load some boolits. Question, coal with the 130gr rn lead is 1.075 in this barrel. I know lone wolf has short leads. Is this length ok. How would i determine if i need a longer lead. I can load to 1.150 for mag length but rounds are to long to chamber.

Start at the bottom of the load data and work up. While I prefer 1.100 as my OAL, you are probably safe where you are if you use safe reloading practices.

I'm using 160gr rn with a length of 1.140

I push the bullet into the barrel then flip it up-side down the bullet should fall out pretty easily. If you have to tap the bullet out or grab the case and pull it than it is hitting the leade or the start of the rifling.

every barrel and bullet combination is going to be a little different. It is impossible for anyone to tell you if your combo will work in your guns.

Send it to Dougguy or put your factory barrel back in, lol.

Found i need an coal of 1.060 for this barrel. Any longer and i don't get full striker hit. Now if i were to have the leade opened abit would it cause a loss of accuracy. I kinda like a longer coal. I shot 50rds today at the 1.060 and all fired the first time and the gun cycled fine.

IIRC one of that aftermarket barrel folks will tweak your length. Lonestar or Storm Lake. If a CB member here can do it, all the better. He'll probably want a couple of sample dummy cartridges.

Lone Wolf will tweak your barrel to your ammo. Lone Wolf used to do it for free; now there's a minimal charge. You will need to send them a couple of dummy rounds.
