Lee 309-200-R

Found a single cavity mold on the Lee closeout site. 1st Lee mold I have had that cast a good looking boolit and the firsr batch had over half right on 203.5 gr, w/the remainder about a grain or 1 1/2 grain lighter.

Anyone used this boolit w/good results. I am setting it up w/21.3 gr (thats what the powder measure settled on) IMR 4227, R-P brass and WLR primers.

I am using teflon tape on this batch and will post when I get some results. Might be awhile as i may have used up my yard leave.

Yup $14 and $4 for shipping to Las Vegas. AND the boolits look good w/consistant weight. If it will shoot.....

The cheap $$$ is only for the single cavity, which is what I like as I am a dipper

I had good luck with that boolit. It'll shoot well if it fits you gun.

seabreese133 --Papa smurf here ,that 29 gr load Has worked well in 4 diferent rifles . Groups less than 1 1/2 ins. @ 60 yds. in all and my boys have taken 5 deer with it ---good luck

Hi Seabreeze,

I have used 25.5 gr. RX-7 (what the Lee measure threw) with a 210 gr. boolit-the Lyman 311290 and got great accuracy with it. I have used the Lee 180 grainer and thught it was a pretty good deal.

I use that H-335 in .30-30 as per Felix's load advice & it's the mostest accuratist load in my .30-30.

I use a lyman 311291. with 13 gr red dot.I have the lee bullet and will try that next.I shoot a 1914 springfield(1903 with 1914 barrel.)shoots 1" groups at 100Yds

Works well otu of anything with a long throat in my experience- Swiss 1889, 1911, Krag, etc.

I'm using it with a case full of WC-860 and a mag cap I get about 2150 to 2200 fps and it shoots a lot better than it should , I mean I don't weigh bullets or anything special and got 5 under m.o.a. that's almost to good to be true but it's a dandy. James
