Shooter575--Is the old site just going to go poof on the 4th? No. It will be more spectacular than that. The bad thing is you wont be able to see it happen unless you have a special device. (similar to needing special glasses for old 3d movies) The good news is I can sell you this device for the amazingly low price of just $19.95. That's right just $19.95. That's less than I paid for them. Thousands have sold for up to ten times more. But you have to hurry. Send me the check. You wont want to miss this colossal event. Imagine all the tons of gunpowder and even more tons of male bovine fecal matter(thats polite for bullshit)going poof at once. Get those checks in the mail.

575 and ALL CB.
No, The aimoo site is not going to just go poof on 4 April.
I will lock all but one category for directing old members and new to our new locale however. They will remail open to view as long as I can hope.
The bottom line remains as stated below.
One of the reasons for the move now is to make sure we still have access to those posts for a long while,we have money in the aimoo bank to hold them until we have developed a way to transfer them or consolidate them here.
I did want to wait until aimoo just went poof or we were out of money to make a move such as this.
The aimoo hosts are increasingly unwilling to respond to the membership and that was constantly putting me in a very bad spot. If you wanted to get an issue resolved you put a email request in and waited,..waited and waited. Sometimes never getting a response at all. This is not a cast boolits only issue, many, many many folks are getting ignored.
Aimoo as a domain looks to be very unstable in the long term for everyone. They have no phone, never ever have put their names in correspondence, have never even admittted to their location.
I did not want to just have them shut down and disappear taking us down as well.
A pre-emptive move had to be made in our favor,Gunloads stepped up,tremendously in my opinion.
I am still on limited access, and will reply to any questions as best as I can.

To 45nut and GunLoad Master,
This just seemed like a good time to say THANK YOU!! for all your effort to keep this forum going. I have no idea what all is involved with what you are doing, but I wanted you to know that it is appreciated. This forum has to be one of the best, if not the best on the net.

Lemme add my "high five" to 45 Nut and and GB Master for making this a pretty seamless move. Good foresight, and fine transition all around.

Got to say one thing. We as a group are getting a lot better at this putter stuff. When I joined Shooters a couple years before it went down.I had nota clue on how the internet worked.Heck look at me know.I can pound keys with two fingers and hit the space bar with my thumb. It is too bad I didnt learn english  Heck I even got my own avatar up.
Between the shootin stuff and putter stuff it goes to show that you Can teach a old dog new tricks.
