My wife and I got my son a Glock 40 longslide in 10mm.

My son bought me a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel for my M&P 40S&W and a green laser sight for it as well, along with two17rd 9mm magazines.

My wife bought us both a handgun mini-vault for our home defense handguns.

Everybody had a real nice Christmas.
Sunday we go to my oldest daughter's house for our family Christmas with both daughters and the grand kids, all 5 of them.
Promises to be an extremely loud and raucous day...hope I can tolerate the noise.

No new guns for me....but the wife did score me a new notebook computer for the loading bench. Apparently she' taking pity on an old man with bad hips. Fewer trips up and down the basement stairs to check load data, etc....I think she likes me. Or...she just wants to keep me in the basement. :)

Well my wife gave me a Crimson Trace laser for my PPQ, and she got a suppressor for her glock . Well we paid for it, along with setting up a trust, and I did buy her a threaded barrel for the gun. At least the barrel will get here in the next few days, the suppressor will be a good while longer wait due to our fine government. She'll be able to go shoot it soon, just not jailbreak it.

Looks like a CZ 75 Compact frame. Front sight is different and the grips looked special. Am I close? Who put it together? Looks killer.

That lower has sweet lines. I really like the front of the frame beneath the barrel and the trigger guard. I would love to see it with a FDE or other drab color cerakote on the lower.

This is my slide from my Glock17. My daughter is having it done for me for Christmas. I should have it in the next 2 weeks. I knew I raised her right. Check out inside the slide cut, the barrel is hexagonal. The frame is getting the full treatment also. I cant wait to get it back.

I bought the gun a little before christmas, dad saw it and like it so much he told mom he wanted one. I managed to locate one and get it shipped in in time for him to open it yesterday. His is just stock and will stay that way. As soon as my stamp comes in mine will get cut down to a 10'' barrel.

100$ appears to be new, un-fired, no rust, no marks, no blemishes.
Considering that I have paid 80$ for a similar action, 30$ for similar stock, I considered it a steal and snapped it up.

Wife was a bit short of cash for her bling so I said I get the shotgun, no bs, no backtalk and you get the money to buy your black hills gold diamond ring. ( she was 40 short and tax) Done she says and so it is.
If needed I will put a strap on cartridge carrier/pouch on the stock to raise cheek an inch. Did the same to my .357 mag which wears a shotgun stock.

I'm the youngest at our family Christmas at 29 and everybody kind of looks at me to be the excited one anymore. Its tough esp when you work for UPS full time and this time of year sucks out your soul. I used to go to the Christmas of a now ex girlfriends family and they had several younger kids there that really REALLY made Christmas for me. Just seeing the Joy and laughter made my Christmas.

As far as the guns go I guess I'm a bit like you as well, my family (except for dad) simply refuses to get me gun stuff for the most part. And it would be silly to get me any firearms. Luckily for me they don't realize some of the seemingly harmless stuff on my list is in fact "gun stuff". Dad got me 8 more magazines for my Ruger precision and I splurged and got myself a few "Gunsmith kinks 1,2,3" books off ebay to read through. I'm thankful for all the family that is able to make it to our little Christmas this year. even if it wasn't the biggest our loudest we've had its still time together. OH but I did make it to the range the next day with a good friend who works for snap on and he gave me a pair of socks which look very promising :)

A savage bolt threaded 22 and a bushmaster ar. bought the 22 so I could shoot up sub sonic stuff that doesn't run well in my semi auto guns and bought the bushy to just stick under the bed as I don't really need another shooter. Figured with Obama on the rampage I better buy an ar well I still can.
