I've searched everywhere I know but the largest boolet moulds I can find are for 55 grain. My rifle has a 1/7 twist and I thought a heavier boolet might do better. Anyone know of moulds for .223 boolits larger than 55 gr?

"Accurate.....all the "usual suspects"!"

This is inaccurate. Accurate does not not make .223 caliber bullet molds. The smallest Tom goes is around .284"

Sorry about that......I never bought one from him. Since they are in the mold business, I figured they were there with the rest of the mix and made the very popular smaller cal's.

Noe has/had a 70 grain RN and a 63 gr. MX copy, neither shoot well in my CPA 1-12" barrel.

I've got my hands on one... But we don't speak of the maker any more. He initially ran it a smidgen too small, but I kept it because I would powder coat.

It's a 70 grain boolit check style, I kinda messed up the mold a touch. Nothing some sand paper and brake cleaner won't fix! Good luck, they're out there

wqith a tight twist 5.56 NATO xhMVR YO HAVE TO THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOSING A BULLET MOLD.
fIRST IS THE 7 TWIST WILL LIMIT you to a slow velocity. Then you need extra bullet weight to compensate for recoil. Then the nato throat is .277" as opposed to .255" for a sami throat in 223 Rem.

The RCBS 55 gr. gas check actually weighs 63 gr. with Lyman #2 checked and lubed. That's with my mold and my technique.

My Lyman #225646 that is listed as a 55 grain also makes a finished bullet with check at 60 grains.
In three different AR-15's is has functioned the action with a load of 14.5 grains of 4198. I don't buy that powder anymore because the long stick size is just a pain to work with. That load clocked 2123 fps in my 26" barreled bolt gun. AR's were 20" barrels. One NATO 12" twist and other 223 SAMI with 9" twist. H-4895 will give more gas volume and a little more recoil for the same velocity. From al reports I've read here a carbine with it's short gas port location cycles better with cast. I have a new carbine upper with a 9" twist barrel and a hundred of those old 4198 loads so I'll be finding out.

The Seaco is 60gr.
