Quick question: I am going to buy a toppunch for my Lee 105swc. Castpics list Lyman #402.
RCBS #402 is in stock, not the Lyman. Is these the same and will the RCBS fit?
Or will a flat toppunch be as good?

I don't know but perhaps you can find some info on here.

HogStad7,

I did a small search on the Lyman top punch 402 vs RCBS 402. No results on their interchangeability.
You might be able to retrofit a spare spire point rifle seating die's depth cone as a temporary solution.

I hope this helps,

Yes, they're the same if it's the same number.

I have a Lyman #356402 and the RCBS 09-124-CN "looks just like my Lyman. Both call for the 402 top punch and I agree that either would work on your Lee 358-105 SWC as the nose designs appear to all be about the same.

The Lyman 402 has a slightly longer nose but the fit is the same for the RCBS CN. I use the #402 punch for the RCBS and it works very well. with an adapter I use it in a Saeco Lubrisizer and there is no problem. LLS

Did you make the adapter for the saeco sizer? I would be interested in seeing a picture of this,I would like to make one.
Thanks
