Anybody know if this bullet will fit in the cylinder of a Ruger SP101 .357 without sticking out to far ? thanks

Try loading it in a .38spl case with 12 to 13 gr. 2400
Works for for me but you may not like the kick or noise.

There are some variations in the nose length with this design.
It will definitely fit with .38 SPL brass, maybe not with .357 mag
brass.

Crimped normally they will fit my Ruger BH, but not my Dan Wesson, but this doesn't answer your question. Brian Pearce's solution (in "Handloader" mag.) is to trim your .357mag. brass to 1.25" OAL so that you can roll crimp in the crimp groove. Trust me, it works.
