I found these boxes on Amazon. They are actually made for filing 3X5 cards. The reinforced corners make them exceptionally strong and they stack perfectly. They hold approximately 400 9mm boolits or about 300 45 Colt boolits.

They also offer a bigger one that is good for larger quantities.

they have a larger yet size that perfectly fits Lyman manuals, and a tiny size intended for a 16pc crayon box that works great for 22boolits or gas checks (for those that make their own)

I use mason jars, almost free at garage sales :)

Not big enough. I'd use 50cal cans if I could move them when full.

There was no mention on the link you posted about a seal or if they are airtight.
Do they have a seal ?
Do you think they are airtight ?

because it looks like a possible candidate for airtight mold storage.

They have a lid that clips on, but I don't believe it would be airtight. More like the seal on a Lyman box. For a tight seal, some food storage boxes would be better, in my opinion.

I use the same style boxes. Much better for me than the 1lb coffee cans. Plus you can see what's inside.

I've got some square plastic boxes similar to those, and I use a lot of these:

http://www.menards.com/main/tools-hardware/tool-storage/storage-racks-containers/8-oz-interlocking-storage-jar-assorted-colors/p-1444428744486.htm

Menards had them on sale with the "buy 'em, send in the rebate form, get 'em for free" deal--so I have a bunch of 6-ounce, 8-ounce, and 12-ounce jars.

They're not quite as space-efficient as the clear plastic square boxes, but they are great for loose rounds taken to the range--as well as all the different kinds of cast boolits I have in various calibers, weights, lubed or PC'd, etc.

Looks like they would be good for lots of reloading things.

I bookmarked that amazon page. There never seems to be any shortage of little piles of "stuff" or lead and brass at different stages of processing that need someplace to be stored. Hard to beat free with rebate on the Menards storage containers.

I have boxes like those that I buy for storing my moulds. I got them from Office Depot. They are not sealed and not airtight but they are strong and work well for holding stuff. They are available in about 10 different sizes.

I use mostly Sandwich Meat plastic containers to store my boolits and bullets. Hillshire Farms meats come in nice ones and we go thru a lot of meat so I have a lot of boxes.

I also use Mixed Nut, and Cashew Containers like come from Costco fro storing brass. For larger brass I use Swiffer containers as they will hold about 200 .30 cal. cases easily.

There are so many nice plastic containers out there nowadays that it is inconceivable to me why any one would spend money on containers to store bullets, brass, nuts, bolts, or any other type of thing that you need to store.

WM has square beverage containers cheap, large and airtight for sure. Wide mouth too. I stick with Aidi mayo jars mostly for boolets for my limited casting

I use one pound coffee cans, which I powder coat. They have a sealing plastic lid and stack well. I have a friend that drinks a lot of coffee

They cost money when coffee cans and such are free. A permanent marker is also cheap. I can read and do not need to visually see the product. :bigsmyl2::kidding:

I wonder...has anyone ever tried one of those FoodSaver vacuum sealed containers for mold storage? I saw some at Walmart for $8 a pair.

Not sure if I want to go with 30s like you did, or try those Plano storage containers. Those are only $5. Decisions.

the plastic boxes are nice, I use various ammo cans, collected over the years.

I also am a big fan of the half size green ammo cans. They hold approx 60 LBS of cast raw boolits. Once I fill all my ammo cans then I size and lube the raw boolits and stack them in 3x5 white boxes ready to load. When I PC my boolits I keep them in Costco's nut jars until I size and lube them an then I stack them in my 3x5 boxes ready for loading.

Nice! Best price I've seen. They even have a tiny box that would be good for various little parts around the reloading bench, but they're out of stock at the moment.

I must really be cheap. I just use peanut butter jars. Priced right, easy to get, sturdy and airtight.

I have successfully used pencil boxes such as used by school kids for storing sized and lubed pistol bullets and get two layers separated by a cardboard sheet into a box. Snaps closed. Does not work for rifle bullets...maybe one layer, but depends on length of bullet. The boxes are of various colors and are inexpensive/ LLS

I found these on Officesupply.com on sale for $1.70 each with free shipping on orders over $45. They are great for boolits and other items where you don't need really large containers.

They seem to be really strong and re-enforced, and they stack well.

For smaller containers of finished boolits (less common sizes), I get really cheap: outlet boxes... They're not clear, so I have to mark the outside, but at $.26 each, I can't say "No"... and they come with their own mounting hardware!!! (tho I normally remove those, so they sit side-by-side or stack easily...)
