I have some 335 grain plain base bullets from Beartooth Bullets. Anybody have any load data for it or one close to it in plain base?

Hit on Hodgdon's site. They have pressure tested dat for all weights of bullets. I've used alot of their data in the past and found it good./beagle

My bullets are plain base. The bullets at Hodgdon are gas checked. About where would I start a starting load compared to their data?

Use their starting load and work up. Unless you're really pushing the velocity envelope, the GC won't make any difference.

If your bullets are of a sufficient diameter for your chamber you shouldn't experience leading.

Rule of thumb is that you can get away with more pressure with a PB bullet than a GC. Same as you can get away with more pressure with a cast bullet than you can a jacketed. Less friction./beagle
