Grilled Pineapple

We were in the Big city for a wedding recently and ate at a Brazilian Grill. Had rattlesnake, wild boar, venison, beef, pork and grilled pineapple. The Pineapple was a hit with my wife so today we have pork shoulder steak and pineapple on the grill. The pineapple was peeled and sliced with the slices on inderect heat. I'll let you know how it turns out but stilll can't post pics due to camera issues. Gianni

The grilling caramelizes and enhances the natural sugars.

My eldest daughter put spices on hers before grilling.

It turned out great though we moved it to low direct heat instead of indirect. It took longer than the pork did to cook. What spices does your daughter use? Gianni

Gianni,

I think she uses cinnamon or all spice.

She will be back from college this weekend for a visit and I'll ask her.

I use a bit of sea salt after it is off the grill.
