New old Lyman W & W/O cas check casting: look what I got in the mail

I just received this vintage lyman mold 311241 bought in an auction. The mould has been modded in order to drop 155 plain bulletts or 195 checked. The base shows the two screw and the splines that make possible removing the gas chech shank and rebring the moult in the originale shape. Had not time to test the boolits but I hope thhei could work in the forecomer Win 94 as well as in the 308 stalker. Dropping is a consistent .312,5. Would like to ear what you think about it152504

I have seen other molds modded in this way, it generally works pretty well.

Thanks, the gas check I got didn't fit very tight, I would try anealing. Or, as I have read here on forum, I have seated one by crimping it in place with the Lfc die ant seems to hold very steady.

A year back a guy gave me 3000 Lyman 22 cal checks for one dollar. They were loose and rarely stayed on so now I just put a tiny dab of super glue on the boolit before attaching the check, sizing and lubing. They shoot great. Gluing them on is a PITA but the price was right and they are only getting used in single shots so do not have to do that many.

Henry is gone (hatt off I liked this rifle) and today the new win 94 showed himself. Seems a great fine crafted (as most japs products) and stiff and alla iron (magnet test no **** alloy). I havent' shot it but sludged the barrel and got 308,4 (308,6 the Browning stalkerBA). Cause the mold is dropping 312 do you think I should size them for both rifles, or just can shot as they come out casting with the right lube of course152620?
