slugged my 03 to .310 recommend to cast .312 ,,,,,,,,can a 30 cal gas check be used ? Thanks CJ

Yes, they run about .318" before sizing.

the 30 cal checks work on both the 30 and the 31 cal boolits.
it's shank size on the boolit that determines whether it will fit or not, not the ultimate diameter of the boolit itself.
sometimes you may need to anneal the check or open the diameter a little to make things fit more square and stay that way when sizing.
