Well, I knew I shoulda stayed home today. Found a "need".
Gotta sell somthing. I have a M94 24" AE, as new. Accept I already upgraded the sights to a Williams rcvr and fiber optic front.. Checkered PG & fore end. In your honored opinion, can I get 500$ for it? This has been a safe queen. Never been to the woods. TIA

Kinda hard to tell. 6 months ago, I wudda sed yep! But today? The CAS folks prefer the 20" carbine version yet that calibre is the 2nd most used and they are always looking for the 45 rifle.

I just sold a Win. M94 in 44-40 in a lot worse shape than you describe yours for more than 500.

If you belong to SASS, post it on the SASS Wire for $500 + shipping and see what kinda bites you get. I would.
