My 457193 weighs 418.9 grains sized and lubed. IT's not a bad shooter for a PB but I prefer the 45-405-FN RCBS with a GC./beagle

If this is Wayne Doudna's operation I will give him high marks for the quality and consistency of his bullets. A nice gent to deal with too.

I've exchanged emails with the gent regarding the 540gr Postel. When I inquired if he used a suitable BP lube, he simply indicated that he used "his own" without saying if it was effective or not. He did say that he could do .459 in that boolit and shipping per 500 was $7.70 anywhere in the USA. The lube thing kinda bugged me because that boolit really is not designed for smokeless and I remain a bit undecided.

I don't know what Wayne uses as a BP lube so can't help in that regard. As a smokeless lube he uses what appears to be LBT hard blue or something very similar. Works well at any rate.

Chances are that he is using his own make for BP lube, but that could be just an assuming on my part... Unless they are lubing with SPG, that I get in the deal... I order mine unlubed, so I can use my own BP lube that I have been making for years. :lovebooli
