Probably an old question, but I searched for quite awhile and could not find the answer.
Anybody know what Lyman or RCBS Top Punch works best for the Lee 379-250 RF bullet?
Thanks,
keithfan

it's a flat nose so a bolt would work just fine.
airc the rcbs and lyman top punches have 1/4X20 threads.

My Lyman and RCBS top punches are smooth and measure .263-.265", although a ¼" rod works just as well for flat nosed boolits. I had a bunch to compare because I bought eighteen of the little rascals at an auction this weekend for $9.00, not to gloat or anything.

I think the SEACO top punches are threaded, but I'm not real sure.

I ain't had a lyman sizer since sometime in the well,, [it started with 19] since I used one one time [for about 6 boolits and thought there had to be a better way] and ordered my first star 10 minutes later.

Thanks fryboy. I`m a long-time handloader, but a rookie caster.
