The club rabbit trap

I run our club web site and at the weekend took some photos and videos of the rabbit trap in action. I could shoot those bunny clays all day. The first 25 rounds I fired were black powder. That shook up the natives!

Nice. I've never shot at one of those. I believe they're common in the "sporting clays" courses in the US.

When I first read it, I figured you must really be overrun with rabbits to have a trap at the gun club.

We have a rabbit trap at our club for 5 stand. They bounce around and are tough to hit. You can see how far behind you are because the shot hits the ground.

I have only shot clay rabbits once and it was a lot of fun. Ours was part of a sporting clays match
and there was an old rotten log that blocked part of the "run", adding fun to the challenge, and some
realism, too.
