How do you turn off the auto pay subscription for this web site? I have been a sponsor for a few years now and I do not have the money to do this anymore. I do not want to look at my bank account and see that money is missing again.

It is a setting on/in your paypal account.

tomme boy,
It 'was' under subscriptions in the old paypal format.
Using their Help/search feature, I found that it is now under preapproved payments. While it's not mentioned below, you can cancel you subscription/payments on the same screen.

Here’s how to change the way you pay for preapproved payments if you don’t want to use your PayPal balance:

Log in to your PayPal account.
Click the settings icon next to "Log out."
Click "Payments"
Click "manage Pre-approved payments"

Click the name of the merchant for the agreement you want to change.
Click Change in the Payment Method section.
Select the payment method you’d like to use.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know you could modify these things at paypal . Went to the site and removed about 8 transactions that were set up to be reoccurring.

Glad it helped.
I read you location "Between Hondo and Bandera", I've been there.
My folks spent several winters in D'Hanis (actually old D'Hanis).

Have to be careful. I ordered free stuff and found I kept getting refills, same for my dog medicines.
I am like you and am on SS. It is important to support this site but with little money, it does not happen. It is like telling Carol I want a new gun. I value my cast iron pans too much to have head dents in them!

Glad you got it figured out tomme boy.

Too many times folks accuse us of "taking" the yearly renewal from their account and it always happens when they least expect. We are not connected to a members account in any way, shape, or form. When a member signs up to a recurring Team Boolit subscription a pop-up is displayed which explains the auto-renewal agreement the member must click through to finalize the deal. From that point on it is PayPal that pulls money from your account on or near your renewal date then sends it to us.
