went to the range to work out sabots with 457 bullets I casted. ended up one of those days your happy but your saying "what the hell happen".

Knight usak /tasco 3-9 x 40
reg cci #11 (could be the problem) norm, rem #11
winds 5 to 10mph clear
15 457 405gr homecast with 75gr T7

50 yrds with an harvester black crush rib sabot,

my guns was acting little strange today. but I was happy with the out come.
came home with 1/2 a one gallon bucket of brass and about 3lbs of range lead on top of it. going to back the charge off a little.

Corey,
I shoot tons of Rem #11's and they are better, by far, than the CCI's. Going to follow your testing with interest. Would be neat to cast for a homemade sabot load.

I have shot a lot of rem #11's too, I think this is going to be the first and last time I'll shot cci's
wish I could get cci mags. I heard they are better then the regular. I need to pick up
