Custom recoil pad installation

I posted this in Gunsmithing forum but didn't get any response. I don't have a local gunsmith, so is there anyone on the forum that will cut off the stock and install a permanent recoil pad on an old Remington Wingmaster 870 for me? (for pay of course.) Thanks for your replies.

Really pretty easy to do yourself! If you or a friend has one of the mitre type chop saws the cut is easy. If you are going to keep your length of pull the same just cut off the thickness of the pad. Wrap a couple layers of masking tape around the stock where the cut is to be made. This prevents splintering of the stock as the blade comes through. A pad jig is nice but you can do a decent job without one, just don't get in a hurry. Good luck.
