My Lee drip-o-matic says 500 watts. Power charge here is 11 cents a KWH. Does this mean I can run the pot for two hours for 11 cents?

Actually longer than two hours. Two hours would be based on continuous operation of the heating element. Your pot will turn off and on to keep at or near a set temperature. Probably be more like three or four hours for your 11 cents.:-D

Get yourself a Kill-a-watt (http://www.p3international.com/products/special/P4400/P4400-CE.html), plug it inline, and measure what you're using.

They're relatively inexpensive, and give you things like voltage, current draw, accumulated kilowatt hours. I've seen them online from the high teens to over $40. I got mine from an ebay vendor for $20 delivered.
