I thoroughly enjoyed this and I thought I would share. I've spent time with gents just like this. Old men make a lot of sense sometimes.

he does have a lot of sage advice on technique and ability
comes down to protecting your own
didn't care to much for zombie's either that was funny
love his truck I need something like that
he almost killed himself with the oak that bucked on him not sure what he did
I always pay close attention to older folks when they speak with all their experience
they know more than most and have excellent advice
used to listen intently to my friend who's property I used to hunt had a way of dishing out advice without
seeming like he was giving advice
I miss that
Thanks for the link many memories

Good points, mostly. A bit cavalier with the cutting when alone.
What model truck is that? Thinking late 40s Willys but not
sure. Looks military with the super flat glass.

OK, some looking on the net found that it is an early 1950s vintage
M37 Dodge military truck.

More info on the restoration and operation than you ever wanted
to know (probably).

If that link doesn't work, go to YouTube, type in logcabinlooms and find his video called Preppers.

Reality is people already live where preppers think they are gonna go. Don't own an ar15 but will probably have a pile of them IF TSHTF. Still just carry my 35 rem or 30-06.

Yeah I laugh at the guys in the big city who think they are just going to meander into the countryside and take what they need. He hit the nail on the head, most of them will be dead or in a camp in 2-3 days!

there is a definite skill to going out with nothing,or with what you can carry and making a living
most these days have lost most of the skills needed

Great video. Some people look at me and shake their head when I say the best "survival" arsenal is a single or double shotgun and a 22lr pistol and a surplus military bolt action.

Like someone said, there will be plenty of ARs about three days after. I do keep a few loaded magazines.
