This was sent to me from my oldest sister.....

I am so proud of my son! He rescued two small children who were caught in the undertow at the beach (Melbourne area) over the weekend. It was early AM and the lifeguards weren't there yet. The kids parents were there lying on a blanket but apparently oblivious to what was happening until David got them closer to shore. Says he was surprised to see such young kids out there, "They looked like puppies in the water." Put one on the back of his board and grabbed the other by the shoulder Says he wasn't nervous or shaken-up, just knew what he had to do, because he could see they were scared and one kept going under, "I wasn't going to let that happen", he said.

Good on your nephew.

But I have to ask, What kind of parent takes their kids to the beach/ lake/ swimming pool and doesn't pay attention? I recently read of a baby floating out to sea from a Turkish beach, at least it had some kind of flotation device...
