Boy I'm hoping they cast big. I got one comming just so as to get somethin PB going down this 38/55 bore. The coppers was hittin sideways. You can shove em right in with thumb pressure, so I slugged and its .3805

I have a single cavity copy that casts at .379 in ACWW. I have seen others mention having copies that cast as large as .381.

I have been able to beagle mine out to .3815 without much problem. I used 2 layers of the aluminum tape over the male portion of the V alignment features. There was not enough flat surface on the faces of the blocks to effectively use the tape in the traditional locations.

Mine goes about 381, but it was purchased when Lee first came out with them. Can't speak to what they are doing now.

My 3- or 4- year old Lee casts .383, and sizes nicely to .379-.380. This slug shoots great in both my H&R and my T/C contender rifles; in fact, it is more accurate than the Lyman 375248 out of both my guns. I nailed a groundhog at over 100 yards with a nice headshot with one of these--with my favorite load of around 9 grains of Red Dot. Definitely recommended!

.............I got one about 2 years ago and it drops a bit over .380". POst on the "Buying and Selling" forum for one of the 6 cav group buy 255gr moulds. Someone may have one the no longer need. They use a GC but they'll drop from the mould at about .384" or so.
