I started collecting my SS a year ago. I am still working full time (self employed for 33 years) and I have to say that check showing up every month has made it a rather nice cushion. What makes it even better is that I am collecting on my ex wife's SS. She is a real estate broker/developer and has done very nicely over her lifetime, thank you very much.

Yep, SS check makes, comfortable living possible.
I worked 41 years before drawing 6 months unemployment, and then SS. Does that make me a member of the entitled generation?
I had intended to work on (health permitting) to 72, but the plant closed.
