Cast My First Boolits Today

The weather broke a little today so I thought I'd try out my new casting gear.

These are from a Lee 180gn. mold.

This is also my first attempt ay pics sorry if it is not very good.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

They look like boolits to me :) Congratulations.

Yea It does feel good to finally make my own I can't wait to try them out.

I'll be using Lee Liq Alox lube should I lube before or after I put the gas check on?

lube then gas check them, did you get a lee sizer of it they are under 20.00. kjg

Absolutley, just as soon as you let me know where to get one. I'd like to get a 210 gn also.

I happened on that 240 on ebay one time. Think it is a special order. You still see them there from time to time. Lee makes a tumble lube 210 you can pick up easy. Wish they would make a 210-220 with regular grooves.
