Are these actually the same powder,with benchmark just having smaller particles??
The loads look very close between the 2 as far as I can tell.

Nope not the same powder. Benchmark is a little faster than 335. Benchmark is made by ADI in Australia for Hodgdon, H335 I believe is WCC surplus in origin.

I haven't used Benchmark much, but I never thought it was nearly as dramatic as 335 in terms of muzzle flash. H-335 is notorious among handgun silhouetters for its great balls of fire.

Not even similar. Benchmark is extruded, H335 is ball.

I've burned at least 32+lbs of it it is probably closer to H-322 than 335 it is IMHO the powder for small to medium capacity cases ie- 223,30-30, and about any wildcat based on them. I also like it in full power loads in my 458 Lott. Some of H-4895 data is similar. It is very consistent and predictable. Good luck James
