Just kicking around the idea of converting a CZ527 in 223 to a 327 Federal Magnum to go with my single seven.

Looks like a rebarrel and chamber would be the ticket. Might have to do some mag work to fees the rimmed cartridges, but my 527 in 22 hornet works like a champ.

Any suggestions or potential problems to look out for?

I think that would be a slick setup!
-then you could go with a leveraction to go with the CZ, then another single seven to go with the leveraction and then.....

Mmmm, now that sounds like a sweet rifle!

I have a marlin 32 cowboy that gets shot occasionally but would like a lighter rifle. I think the 527 would be about perfect.

I was thinking a 77/357 would be easier to make if we could just get Ruger thinking the same way.

The bolt face should be pretty close to fit the 327.
And a single stack magazine will be easier to adapt for a rimmed cartridge than a staggered magazine.

You might also look into using the CZ527 carbine barrel in 7.62x39 and having a fixed chamber insert made for the caliber reduction.
Silver soldered in place, so it wouldn't be a single shot.
The bore would be right for the .32 bullets. and the barrels should be availabe and already fit the receiver.
