As i prepare to celebrate fathers day with my family, i thought i would wish all the dads on here a happy fathers day. I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters who never fail to bring me joy, along with the occasional pain. Everybody, enjoy these times. God bless

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there. Though my own Dad passed away many years ago, the life lessons he taught me are still with me. Thanks Dad!

Do you remember when you first found out you were to become a Dad? Pride, relief, scared, bliss, all rolled into one.

Since my dad passed away 5 years ago, Father's Day has become somewhat bittersweet for me, although I appreciate the extra attention from the kids and grandkids. My dad and I were not overly close, but I learned many things from him by simply watching. He didn't always know he was teaching me things, but many times I have said "I can do that, cuz I have seen my daddy do it" This Father's Day was not a super happy one, as I lost my mom early Saturday morning. I had just seen her on Thursday, and I'm thankful that I had that little bit of time together with her.

Thanks for the prayers, guys, they are most appreciated. I was simply speaking from the heart, not trying to hijack the thread.
