Anybody near Woonsocket SD?

Hi,

Is anyone here near Woonsocket SD? This is a small town about 45 minutes North West of Mitchell SD. We have duck hunted on a pond there for several years. It was 5-6 ft deep a couple years ago but bone dry last year. Trying to figure out if it has water this year and what the general water situation is in the area.

Have a relative near there. They had been bone dry, but have finally been getting some rain as of late. I think he said his slough is still empty.

When are you planning to go if you do?

Normally the end of October for ducks. If we are looking for pheasants, we go after thanksgiving when everything is frozen.

Used to pheasant hunt out that way when my older brother lived in Sioux Falls... about a 100 mile drive from where I am in MN.
