Just wanting to get exposure, NOE is considering a mold run (numbers permitting) for this version of the Hornady Great Plains Boolit.

I dug up a 54cal GP mold when I got my 54 cal at an auction. Makes you wonder why Lyman quit making them.

The Lyman Great plains bullet was the worst mould I ever used. I tried everything to get them to shoot and they wouldn't. I even paper patched them and still they would group 6" at 50 yards. Meanwhile the lee REAL was grouping 1.5" at 50. I sent it back to Lyman and they said the mould was within tolerances. It was listed as a .508 and it never threw a bullet bigger than .504
