Another "granddad's attic" find. I have the buttstock, brass buttplate and forend. The forend is original but has been cleaned up. This looks like it was a project which was never finished. A pistol grip has been added and the comb was cut off to mount a cheekpiece. It's nicely done (IMO) and pretty smooth except for a couple of light scratches. If you're building an Enfield sporter, there's not much work left to finish this piece.
I'll post pics tonight.
Howzabout 31 March for a closing date?

Also located the barrel bands and swivels. Here's some pics of the wood, there no cracks or scrapes and only the slight, small dings:

Outstanding!
It's pretty nice wood. There are so many barrelled actions, a nice custom Enfield could be made by cutting the fore-end back; a lot like my SMLE in 45-70. I don't have the handguards but those are easy enough to find, if someone preferred full-length wood.
