Just a heads up if you are willing to pay Cabelas price they have tons of powder. I picked up 3 lbs of 2400. They probably had 40 different powders.

Glad to see their selection is improving. At the beginning of the year their powder isle was gone and it was just a small kiosk in the middle of an aisle that only had Norma powder on it. To bad their prices have always sucked. Buy they have been consistent.

Do they have bulk powders? If They do it may be worth the trip....... Need 8lbs in 2400 & BE ( but I wouldn't shy away from some Reloader 7)

Doubt it. I've never seen this store stock anything more than 1# containers. Usually all the primers you want for $40+ per 1k as well. But that was their price pre Sandy Hook.

I've been keeping my eye out for some 2400 for several years...

Are they imposing limits to the quantities you're buying?

They were last time I was there. Think it was 3#s per type.

I was told there was no limit any longer but you know cabelas that coudl change. They had 1lbs and 4lbs. 2400 was only there in 1lb cans.

It has been a little dry here for 18 mo. or so, glade to see it is getting better in other places. I was in a local shop the other day and I had more powder than he did!

For the PA folks ... Shyda's in Lebanon, PA always has a good supply of powder & primers
And if they don't have it - they'll order it for you. Alliant 300-MP is scarcer than hen's teeth and they ordered it for me

Yes, Shyda's is good for powder and primers. Usually fair stock when no one else has anything.

Even the Delaware Cabela's had a little powder on the shelf yesterday. It's smaller store, so the selection was a little limited but I did see Longshot and WSF in handgun suitable. A couple 8 pound jugs of 3031.

No limits posted, but I think their prices do that ....
