was a butifull day here in eastern ks.
spent 2 hrs at range with 24/47 yugo.2.5"groups at 50 yrds with 175gr lee boolit.
with 16grns of 2400 pushing it. Spent the last 3 days dissassembly, cleaning,
cleaning up and refinishing stock, and reassemble rifle.Found no problems in this
process.this rifle has a tighter chamber than my m48 yugo, so will not be able to use
same cases in both rifles without f.l. sizing the brass. a case fired in m48 will not
chamber in 24/47.but that is ok, Am very very happy with the 24/47 has a very
good bore. action is smooth, and is accurate( it shoots better than I can hold.
almost forgot, I lightened the trigger pull, how much???????.
hope tomarrow is as nice as today was.

Hey Big,

Same thing with the tight chamber & my 24/47. The cure for mine was to use separate brass and also to take off .005" from the face of a dedicated shellholder to shorten up those cases so they will fit. First time I took mine out, it failed to fire as the bolt was filled up with cosmoline inside. Won't forget to take that apart next time. Shoots great now. Will have to give it a workout again. Very nice rifle for the money.
